Hello,
I’ve read numerous articles on reaching orgasm for women, but I still haven’t found the answer I really want. I understand that it is normal for a woman not to have an orgasm with penile penetration without clitoral stimulation. Here is my problem. If my husband stimulates me before penetration, I can achieve orgasm after a short time. However, after he penetrates I find it impossible to orgasm. Even if he pulls out and stimulates me the same as always, I just can’t get there. Is there such a thing as over stimulation? I feel like sex is a chore for him when we first start because he is so worried about my pleasure before his own. Does anyone have some answers or suggestions?

Worry and pleasure don’t go together.
Penchant or I may say obsession for orgasm turns off the plain fun of intimacy, the joy of sexual play, the excitement in teasing. “It is essential to have an orgasm”, is the modern myth that has plagued many a couples.

Specifically in your case:
(1) You know how you get an orgasm. So when you want it get it.
(2) Let the insertion and rest of the sex merrily go on.
(3) Be happy that he is happy, satiated and you both love being together.

Return form complexity to simplicity. Please.

You might also want to try a blindfold when you have sex. Many women are distracted by worrying about when and if they are going to have an O. A blindfold cuts out visual distractions and makes it easier for you to concentrate on the physical sensation and how good each stroke feels. That is the key to a good O. They happen again and again when your mind is focused on the physical and nothing else.
