24 centuries ^[7A] before Europe/US studied Sexology a Scholar from India, Vatsayana, compiled all the teachings of the learned Masters available till then and published his work as Kamasutra. Kama means ‘desire’, hence the treatise is more broader, encompassing romance, love, marriage, sex, extramarital affairs.

Sex Therapy implies treatment of difficulties in the areas of Sexual functioning. Mod.L. therapia, from Gk. therapeia “curing, healing,” from therapeuein “to cure, treat.” [1] [2]

PsychoSexual Therapy [3] is treatment that emphasizes psychological aspects of Sexual dynamics.
