From where does the germ of dissatisfaction enter?
Love or rather romance implies a cloud of dream of how s/he would be. Romance is a tender emotion that allures as early as 9 years of age. It may not be expressed, but the mind covets a girl or boy in the classroom or neighborhood.
Romance flares as one grows and goes through adolescence. This is the time streak of rebellion against parents is likely to be the highest. Complaints about the parents and dissatisfaction with the attention/love they get appears inhuman to and adolescent. The baby is caressed and cuddled and gets attention from elder. If the attention is lacking as when mother is talking on the telephone the baby is sure to cry or meddle to draw attention to itself. Such a mechanism of drawing loving attention rapidly disappears when parents measure the child by the marks/grades s/he gets in studies.
