Self-Regulation:
Integrity, competence, confidentiality, responsibility and other applicable standards are not always subject to finite definitions, descriptions, prescriptions or proscriptions. Virtually every professional situation requires that the practitioner make judgments as to propriety. To assist such judgments the Code of Ethics is declared. It comprises standards (rules) of ethical conduct, qualities, skills and services. To prevent compromising Code of Ethics we exercise self-regulation, abide by governmental regulations and satisfy legal requirements.

Sexual Misconduct
To eschew mis behavior ‘sexual misconduct’ is defined below.
Sexual misconduct includes kissing, sexual intercourse and/or the touching of breasts, genitals or other parts for sexual intimacy. Sexual misconduct is also sexual solicitation, physical advances, or verbal or nonverbal conduct that is sexual in nature, that occurs in the guise of activities or role as a counselor or therapist, and that which is known to be unwelcome, offensive, or that which is sufficiently severe or intense to be abusive to a reasonable person in the context. Sexual misconduct can consist of a single intense or severe act, or of multiple persistent or pervasive acts. For purposes of determining the existence of sexual misconduct, the counseling or therapeutic relationship is deemed to continue in perpetuity.
