Semen released in sleep is not harmful. The growing teen suddenly notices this and wakes up disturbed. Please tell children 13 to 19 years that wet dream is normal. Parents hardly know the tremendous anxiety the teen boy suffers silently.

What is coming out of semen during sleep called?

When semen, the liquid which contains sperms, comes out during sleep it is called nocturnal emission or wet dream. (Less commonly liquid released in woman’s vagina during sleep is also called with the same name.) It is also called as spontaneous orgasm.

Is it normal or abnormal?

It is normal.

Why semen comes out during sleep?

In a boy with the onset of puberty testis makes testosterone and sperms. The sperms mix with fluid mainly from seminal vesicles and this fluid is called as semen. This is the viscous liquid that spurts out during ejaculation. The boy/man experiences intense pleasure called climax or orgasm. After that is a feeling of ‘over’, ‘done’. It is a state of relaxation commonly misunderstood as ‘weakness’.

There are only 3 methods
by which semen (liquid which contains sperms) comes out of the male penis.

[1]

Masturbation is a method where the penis is self massaged in the palm of the hand or on bed until the pleasure peaks in to orgasm with discharge of semen (ejaculation).

[2]

Sexual intercourse is another method where when the boy/man is playing with another person (girl/woman) and the intense excitement leads to ejaculation.

[3]

Nocturnal emission/nocturnal discharge/Wet Dream happens when the boy/man does not [1] masturbate and also [2] does not have sexual intercourse.

Why is release of semen normal?

3 most common myths about wet dreams

Semen is made by the body to be released out of the body the way urine and stool are released. If the boy does not have sex, does not masturbate than the only way for the body to release the manufactured semen is to release it when the boy/man is asleep.
Know that semen is made in abundance in male throughout life (after puberty). So it is not a matter of exhausting the supply.
Semen does not contain ‘energy’ or ‘life force’, hence release of semen does not ever cause any harmful effect on the body.

Hence, nocturnal emission is not harmful.

If parents are not very orthodox, strict, disciplinarians or dictatorial kind and the chances of their forbidding is less the best way is to tell parents that he/she is my friend with whom I am dating.
This diffuses the tension of suspicion lurking in the parents mind (they can often smell your love affair) and puts an end to their nagging with questions that irritate you and result in unpleasant flare ups. If parents support you for education/home/business you may lose this platform, which is your fulcrum to take leap towards future lifestyle of your choice.

MAKING IT OUT
Whether to tell parents not only depends on how strict parents are and therefore likely to forbid meeting, but also on how far they have been addicted to mating.

TEENAGERS DILEMMA

One of the important questions teenager has is whether to tell about his girl friend (or about her boy friend) to parents.
We will discuss separately about, “How to tell parents?”
Here we will first see what is going on when they wonder whether to tell parents.
Whether to tell parents or not to tell?

If the parents are very strict or orthodox and will most probably forbid continuing the friendship teenagers choose not to reveal.

Another reason is it is a matter of his friend (or her friend’s) personal privacy that the teen may not like to violate. It’s my/our private matter.

More common than the above reasons is that he and she become friends and make it out. They look for time and place to make love.

They know that marriage in between the two is not possible (caste, religion, parents won’t agree, either he or she or both are married to someone else) yet having tasted the joy of stealthy meeting, enjoyed the obsessive ecstasy of romance and the addictive high of uninhibited, unabashed sexual activity they are enslaved to thrill of love making of a kind experienced never before (never before if it is his or her first sex, which is exception and not the rule).

No. Sex does not mean commitment to guys.
It is a matter of pleasure and pride of having won a girl.

LITMUS TEST

1.Ask the boy to abstain from physical intimacy until after marriage/engagement.
2.Meet his parents and find whether actually they are agreeable to marriage.
3.Check if he is lying. This requires: Not to trust him blindly. Heed the advice of your (girl) best friends. Example: On the mobile he can say he is at work when he is flirting with another girl.

To Top
Please understand that guys know risks of HIV/AIDS, hence do not go to commercial sex workers; instead they lure girls from good families to quench their sexual thirst.

It is true that sex means commitment to majority of girls. The dictum is: “Girls give sex for the sake of love; boys give love for the sake of sex.”

HOW DO BOYS USE GIRLS

The method is almost foolproof. It begins with friendship. Teenagers burst with love hormones and attraction between girls and boys is natural. Friendship grows in to meetings in private. Kissing and petting. PROMISES are made to the girl. She being a girl, believes in giving love and all of herself. Romance in the movies, remember FANNA, is reflection of how girls can be mad in love.

To Top

WHY BE WARY?

What is painful and worst is that the boys know they are giving false promise. They know they are deceiving. They are prepared for the quit moment also. They will stop answering your calls. Tell how nasty his parents are. He will (show) he feels sad that he cannot marry her. Again the girl presumes he loves her and though he is not going to marry her, she continues to love her and he continues to use her for sex.

MAD IN LOVE

Love is blind because often the BEST friends of the girl warn her. Her girlfriends tell her that they have seen him with other girls. She however is determined to change him and make him faithful to her by the power of her love. She is exploited more and more. Many a times boy friends pride how they have won ‘this’ girl or ‘that’ girl. The power of being able to woo is also intoxicating. They feel they are Casanova. They are thrilled if they know they are irresistible to girls.

I say this with great deal of pain because I see girls asking for abortion. Usually trusted girl friend accompanies her. Parents are in the dark. The reputation of the girl is ruined. The trauma of killing a fetus stays all her life. What would be the bitterness that she would carry about ‘men’ is any body’s guess.

CHOOSE HOW TO BEHAVE with boys knowing all this.

I would rather tell its a kind of sense of achievement, which guys try to gather, and it takes 90% of guys away from commitment.
Look girl this is even from my own experience. If a guy really loves a girl, nothing like sex has to do with the commitment thing. Sex in any case do not prove commitment. Commitment would be that a guy standing by you even if you don’t have any physical relationship. Never trust a guy on this one. Save your virginity till marriage for your husband.
To be very frank – no it doesn’t mean commitment. If the guy is sensible enough he appreciates what it means to a girl and to reciprocate the feeling – love is strengthened. Unfortunately, this is rare.
In my thought, sex feelings is not a part of love.
Sex is only a “JUNOON” for few minutes or till cuming out.
For your complicating question, there is a simple answer – No. In other means, there is no correct answer to this question but its you who has to decide it.

there are two kinds of men, one are the persons who uses sex and then leave the girl until they are bored of her. The other, who after sex thinks that they are in love with the girl they had sex with and that means commitment. so, it depends upon the guy you choose to have sex with.

So, about guys I think they are different kind of guys who thinks either sex is fun or sex is commitment. You choose the kind.
Sex is for all creatures for propagation. It is enjoyed best when mature enough for it. The teens is the best time for it. Unfortunately for us, the social dogmas keep us away from the enjoyment during the best times for it. Again, the burden of education and journey to establish a good livelihood also preempt chances for the nature’s gift for propagation. Sex is enjoyed because it also gives pleasure. The pleasure is the factor that attracts participants to it for the ultimate object of procreation.

Approach sex more radically. And be smart.
It depends! Some of the guys may just use you for sex and some would do it when they really love you. However, why do something which your not sure about and with someone you don’t trust ? Why do something just for the sake of fun or just as an act of desperation and feel guilty later on probably for a long time if not for the rest of your life? Wait for the right guy and the right time. Think about it. Good luck!
There is nothing like excess masturbation.

There is nothing like excess masturbation.
Just as there is nothing like excess sex with your wife.

DID YOU KNOW?

You will note that body does not allow beyond a limit ‘excess’ in eating, so too it does not allow excess in ‘masturbation’.

Why it appears excess?
One clear reason is you do not know what is normal. You do not know about others, just as others do not know about how many times you masturbate.

Other reason is not getting correct knowledge from correct source at correct time. This breeds myths.
I have seen that even grown up, educated people have wrong beliefs about masturbation. You know why.

How masturbation (appears) to happen in excess?
Sexual growth begins early at (near about) 14 years age or earlier when you are in (near about) fifth standard. This is called adolescence.

Hair – mustache, beard, armpits, pubic area, on arms and legs – start growing, indicating that nature is preparing the child to become an adult.

Testosterone hormone levels shoot up. Sexual desire increases. The safest outlet for sexual desires is masturbation.

Why masturbation in excess never happens in human body?

Just as you eat voraciously, three times more than the normal quantity of food you eat if you are starving for two days, so too, you tend to indulge in masturbation as soon as privacy is available. Depending upon time available, the sexual excitement and privacy you may masturbate 3 times or 4 times (for example).
After the 3rd time you feel ‘done’, ‘enough’ and you go back to work/sleep.
Just as when starving boy after eating 3 times more food than the normal quantity of food he eats is told by his body to ‘Enough’, ‘No more’, so too body signals ‘Enough’, ‘No more’, to masturbation/sex with partner.
Automatically your body puts a stop and you cannot eat even little morsel more when your belly is full. Similar stop function happens with masturbation.

You will note that body does not allow beyond a limit ‘excess’ in eating, so too it does not allow excess in ‘masturbation’.

Still I feel I have done masturbation too much and began at early age.
This feeling is going to persist since you are holding to this belief for long time, several years. Lack of correct knowledge at the correct time from correct source is the cause of this belief.

FOR PARENTS AND TEENAGERS

Take home message:
Be cool. Human body is marvellous and knows to take care of itself.

Hi,

Good lesson for you.
You are unlikely to get sexually transmitted infection (STI).
Yet, you must observe your penis for any rashes/ulcers. You can get your blood test done for (STI), which includes VDRL test, test for HIV I and II.

The natural sexual urge and curiosity are understandable.
Get correct information about PREVENTION of unwanted pregnancy, sexually transmitted infection (STI), guilt and shame.

People advocate abstinence. Not bad. However, one important practical option is to go steady with girl friend and learn about sex, that is, sexual relations.

Learn that sex is not just four letter word ending with @ # @ k .
Sex is emotion in motion. Sex is so powerful that even casual sex leaves inerasable memory, which can influence your future life favorably or adversely. Sex is closely tied with the four letter word
This event is the first known step in the reproductive cascade. It initiates the pulsatile release of gonadotropins, gonadal secretion of sex steroids, pubertal development, and gametogenesis (the production of sperm and ova).

The word puberty derives from the Latin pubertas: coming to the age of manhood.
